Heat
is a Caribbean style block party or "blocko" as we like to call it. It evolved
from the need of the South Florida Caribbean Community to have a true
Caribbean Style get together. It's a culmination of all the things we enjoyed in
the Caribbean, the food, the music and of course the most important thing, the
people. It's a place where we can "get on bad" for a night without offending
anyone. It started as a South Florida party, but word spread quickly to other
Caribbean Communities in the US and even Jamaica! Now it's the most anticipated
Caribbean party every year.

Heat
is the
brainchild of Junior "Spinners" Martin and Gordon "GeeZee" Ziadie, but grew to
include Ainsley Anderson and Patrick Cuffe. The party was designed around
the flavor of the original Spinners DJs style , meaning, no screaming MCs,
not too much hardcore monotonous music, lot's of Soca and Reggae plus great
variety of popular music, with a dash of oldies as well, catering
to every
musical taste and age group. This combination has attracted the most
sought after party crowd for many years. Great music, great food, great people,
this is what we call the SpinnersLifestyle !

great way for our non Caribbean friends to experience our lifestyle and provide networking opportunities.
XS Heat comes only once year, always the Friday after Thanksgiving.
